Van tyres built for the load
Reinforced commercial construction and the load ratings working vehicles depend on — fitted, balanced and disposed of in the price.
Van tyres are about arithmetic before anything else. Every tyre carries a load index — the maximum weight it may carry — and on a loaded van the margin matters: the tyres fitted must meet or exceed the load rating the manufacturer specifies for the axle. Check the index on your current sidewall against the handbook before you buy, not after.
Construction does the rest. A reinforced commercial casing (the industry C load class — not the EU label grade) adds the sidewall strength that full payloads, daily kerbs and long motorway days demand. The BluEarth-Van RY55 fitment here carries a 109 load index and a low-noise tread that keeps the cab civilised across a working week.
